BRACE News #11E
Microsphere No. 11 - The Newsletter by BRACE GmbH
It is freezing cold in good old Germany and everybody is getting close to the fireplace to stay warm. But still, BRACE is not frozen still but invests in new equipment to push the frontier of encapsulation even further.
So, what's new? With a Buchi B-290 we can extend our already great encapsulation capabilities to some of the very difficult problems. As some materials are forming big crystals they had to be grinded - often under hot conditions. As this can lead to a degradation and a difficult handling, we are now able to formulate just in time fine powder to form dispersions. This is not only helpful to process those materials as suspsension, but also to control the release properties better with well defined powders. But we would not be BRACE if that is enough for us! We can even now use multi-encapsulated formulations, which encapsulate material first by spray drying and in a second step then form our well renowned Microspheres and Microcapsules to have the superior quality and release control our customers are looking for. So, let's talk about future encapsulation methods. Maybe in Hamburg in May? We will present our capabilities during the 17th Industrial Workshop: Practical ENCAPSULATION / MICROENCAPSULATION.
Or maybe you prefer a location in North America? Don't look further and join us in Montreal for the 21st Microencapsulation Convention. You are welcome to discuss your needs during the most effective B2B meeting sessions or at our booth. Not to forget of course that we will be at the ACHEMA 2018 which takes place in Frankfurt in June. There you can have some hands on experience with our desktop unit and check out our sorting and other technology.
Or just discuss the exiting new capabilities we have with our pilot freeze dryer. A Martin Christ Epsilon found it's way in our laboratories to help us in the development of freeze dried products. Especially microorganism profit from freeze drying - even though there are good alternatives which might be more economical - but also our broad line of instant products takes advantage of our increased drying capabilities. Don't hesitate to contact us for your project - with these new equipments we can fullfil your needs even better than before.
